WORKFLOW / CONCRETE

Concrete detail

Design reinforced-concrete details where beam theory stops being useful.

01

Walls and D-regions

Design corbels, deep beams, walls with openings, bridge diaphragms, pier caps and dapped beam ends using the Compatible Stress Field Method (CSFM) for regions where beam theory no longer applies.

02

Openings and deep beams

Handle openings in beams and walls, including non-aligned configurations, without the manual strut-and-tie workarounds a D-region normally forces.

03

Load-path interpretation

See the compression field through the concrete and the stress in every rebar, so the reinforcement follows the load path the structure actually uses.

04

Reinforcement optimisation

Place and optimise reinforcement by hand or let the software propose a layout, including near-edge conditions and construction-stage effects.

05

ULS and SLS reporting

Run Ultimate and Serviceability Limit State checks together and export a report with the stress and strain results shown graphically, not just tabulated.
